It all started with a camping trip. My dad handed me his 35 mm Minolta after I bombarded him with questions about photography. He encouraged me to photograph anything that seemed interesting or beautiful. That day, a fire was lit in my heart that never really seemed to burn out. In high school, I was often found with a camera in my hand, crouching in weird positions to get the shot. After a few years of my camera collecting dust, I decided to pick it back up when I became a mom. Seeing the world through my daughter's eyes re-ignited the flame that was stuck on pilot for far too long. Now more than ever, in order to chase my dreams, I find myself chasing the light.

When I’m not behind the lens, I am busy hanging with my two besties- my spunky toddler and my husband. My other passions are books, vinyl records, good wine and good food. I strive to live a life that leaves this world better than how I found it. All are welcome here.
